We were in Tahoe City from December 26-January 2 and truly enjoyed the relaxation of the week. We celebrated Christmas with Garrett's whole family (uncles, aunts included), played disc golf, visited Squaw while taking the tram all the way to the top to have lunch at the top of the mountain, played games, ate alot of good food, and completely relaxed.
Our friends Mike, Apryl, and their daughter Cienna came up to visit for the weekend of New Years. Cienna is 1 week older than Riley so it is really fun to see Riley playing with someone his own age. It was funny to all of us because when they came to the door Cienna had 2 Barbie Dolls in her hands and Riley had an arm full of trucks/cars. They are truly 100% girl and 100% boy and yet still were curious about and wanted to play with each other's toys. It was fascinating to watch their interactions over the course of the weekend.
The pictures below are of Riley and Cienna saying "Hi Mom" into the karaoke microphone. It was funny because without being prompted that was all they said into the mic for probably 20 minutes!
Mike and Apryl, we are SO glad that you guys were able to make it up for New Years!
